Bailey's training update

After a good day out on the hills on Wednesday it was back to a bit of basic training for Bailey today. He doesn't pull on the lead as much and certainly is picking up the idea of coming to me when called. Of course this is still on the extending lead at this time as I think its too early and risky to let him off his lead on his own. A method which I put to the test today was to attach a "joining" lead between Zeta and Bailey for part of the time today. This meant that he would not stray too far as he was actualy being held back by Zeta. The idea seems to work as you can see from the photo, they both "sat and stayed" at some distance to me and they came when called. Progress I think.
